A tight-bodiced gothic siren- at first glance, Annabella inspires such words. Her home-made outfits- most in black, most with heavy material, all outrageous- mark her as a presence to contend with, an urban Vampira. But beneath the homemade costumes and make-up, Annabella is a sweetheart, a young immigrant recently settled in the City.
Our interview took place on the steps outside the clothing 
store she works; we were interrupted by the occasional customer in need of service and lost tourists seeking directions home.
Annabella was distracted and hurried, but offered the best attention she could muster, not all too different from the street she's made home.
